What We Do

The DAV Department of Maryland fulfills its promise to injured veterans and their families in three distinct ways: advocacy, awareness, and assistance. We storm Capitol Hill to advocate for their interests and represent their voices on both a state and federal level. Injured veterans face physical, emotional, and financial obstacles during their transition back into civilian life. The DAV raises awareness and educates the public on the challenges that veterans face. Our team is committed to ensuring that our heroes have access to all the vital benefits they need. We provide comprehensive assistance to ensure a seamless transition back into civilian life.
